At the Princeton Marriott, from Feb. 22 through Feb. 24, 2019, 100 recently elected school board members underwent intensive training on how to effectively fulfill their responsibilities in the second of 2019’s two New Board Member Orientation weekend programs.
ELFNJ supports training designed to equip board presidents, vice presidents, and aspiring leaders with the skills and information necessary to perform their roles effectively.
This intensive program, supported by ELFNJ, arms new board members with a strong foundation to hit the ground running in their new roles as school leaders.
New Jersey’s 21 county school boards associations offer local training and networking forums to explore the issues facing public school districts.
ELFNJ supports training to help schools implement I-STEAM (integrative science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) programs – and guide informed and strategic decisions.
As part of its commitment to helping schools across New Jersey reach their sustainability goals, ELFNJ, in collaboration with NJSBA and Sustainable Jersey for schools offers training for districts.
